The sorority was formed for the social, cultural appreciation of the fine arts, and civic enrichment of women.

Beta Sigma Phi is not affilliated with any University nor is it a secret society.

Membership is by invitation.

The YELLOW ROSE, symbol of friendship, is the flower of Beta Sigma Phi.

The TORCH of Beta Sigma Phi, our monthly publication was first printed in January 1932.

A Beta Sigma Phi is known by her graciousness, charm, pose, hospitality, friendliness, loyalty, leadership, self-expression, and appreciation of the fine arts.
